PhD position
The Cell Biology & Epigenetics Group (www.cardoso-lab.org) at the Department of Biology of the Technische Universität Darmstadt is looking for a Doctoral student.
Our research focus on (epi)genome maintenance, organization and mobility during cellular differentiation and loss of pluripotency and in disease. The successful candidate will investigate the transport and design of biomarkers and drugs transported into live cells by cell-penetrating peptides.
We seek an ambitious, organized and motivated PhD student to work in an interactive and interdisciplinary group. The candidate must have a master degree and extensive expertise on molecular biology, cell biology (mammalian and insect cell systems, fluorescence live-cell microscopy), biochemistry (chromatin, protein, purification, FPLC) and quantitative image analysis.
Please send your applications documents, including letters of recommendation to:
Prof. M. Cristina Cardoso, Technische Universität Darmstadt, Department of Biology, Schnittspahnstraße 10, 64287 Darmstadt, Germany. E-mail: cardoso@bio.tu-darmstadt.de
